It's always interesting and informative, to see how a wedding can turn around when you have to photograph in two different cities like, Geelong and Melbourne.Danielle and Simon are from Geelong and they got married to one of the beautiful churches in Geelong and their reception venue was at Brighton International in Melbourne.I have to say that I have photographed many weddings in Geelong and that I love going for a drive and shoot at different location. The weather condition was tricky but at condition like this you come up with something different. After all who wants each wedding to look the same as the last? A few images. ![]() Warm to Cold ![]() Wheels ![]() Urban Squirrel ![]() Mother and Daughter ![]() River Junk ![]() Portrait One ![]() Portrait Two ![]() Portrait Three ![]() Bow and Fiddle rock ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]() The Pose ![]()
What a privilege I had to photograph this beautiful couple, Jennifer and Eldon. The wedding was fantastic and I did really enjoyed myself shooting and being there on the day. They wanted to spend more time with their close family and friends instead of going around Melbourne to find location for photos, and that was just perfect for me to be able to shoot more documentary, candid photography. This is new feature that I'm trying out.Just point your mouse over the tnumbnails to view the large photo. Here is some of my many favourites photos of the day.
Stacey and Arthur celebrate their wedding in the beautiful Zinc reception at the Federation Square Melbourne. The weather was very typical for May, dull and overcast with a chance of rain which it did rain in the afternoon as we did get to the city for couple of shots. It was dark and high contrast which it made it very difficult to shoot natural candid photography. The guest at the venue were all relaxed and happy and was a great opportunity for me to capture the vibe. Here is some of my many favourites photos of the day.

Well I thought I should tell the world about the worst experience I have with Allianz Car Insurance. I had my car smashed by that crazy weather, the hailstones we had few months ago. Allianz asked me to take it to one of their repairer as they had many cars damaged, but my problem was it's so far away from my place, I could have taken the car somewhere closer to me. They would not help me with taxi or rent a car for a couple of day's and Allianz only sad to me, pay for your taxi and we will look at it but there is not a guarantee we'll reimburse the money back? Well the repairer called me the very next day and told me the car was done? What? in one day? I went there and the car was left in the mud and not finished with all the dints. I called Allianz and they would not even talk to me, very rude on the phone as if they are trying to get rid of me quicker. So I have to go there again and loose another day and more money to get a rent a car. I just thought to let everyone know and be very careful with Allianz as they are not helpful at all. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
What a great day and wonderful couple I had on this wedding day. Lauren and Phillip got married at Fitzroy Gardens with their reception at Comme Melbourne. The weather was warm and bright which it was great for the guests, the couple and for the photography as well. They had their close family and friends and what a lovely parents, I had the privilege to meet , and had a nice chat with the father of the bride who used to be a professional soccer player. This is some of my favorites of the day.

I spoke to Nicole over the phone and emails as they live and work in Vietnam. I remember Nicole was so nice and friendly even though I didn't know her, and on their wedding day Nicole and David where just amazing, we had so much fun. They are such a wonderful people to know, and a privilege to photograph their wedding as well. The ceremony and reception of their wedding was at the same place, The Terrace Room in Daylesford Victoria. I hope I see them again when I go to over to cover a Documentary story in Vietnam. Here is some of my favorites of the day.
